The stopwatch will count in second intervals and will stop when the player dies or catches the Chinese Monster. When using this mascot, a red animal will be running ahead of you, and when it's caught (standing on the same square as it), it unlocks a secret mascot.Īdditionally, with the New Year's Doll the counter in the top left corner of the screen is replaced with a stopwatch.

The New Year's Doll runs in a snowy environment, like the other New Year's mascots ( Fortune Chicken, Xi, etc.) During gameplay, the lantern spits out red and yellow confetti. It has a red vest (red being a lucky color in the Chinese New Year), black hair rolled up in two buns, white skin with red cheeks, and it is dragging a lantern behind it. The New Year's Doll color scheme is based on the Chinese New Year.
